About the course
The key difference between the Basel II and Basel III are that in comparison to Basel II framework, the Basel III framework prescribes more of common equity, creation of capital buffer, introduction of Leverage Ratio, Introduction of Liquidity coverage Ratio(LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).Basel III is an internationally agreed set of measures developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision in response to the financial crisis of 2007-09. The measures aim to strengthen the regulation, supervision and risk management of banks. The Basel III Guidelines are based upon 3 very important aspects which are called 3 pillars of the Basel II. These 3 pillars are Minimum Capital Requirement, Supervisory review Process and Market Discipline. This Course will make you an expert in both Basel II and Basel III Compliance.
